My favorite Japanese restaurant is Yama Sushi and Izakaya in Portland, Oregon!
I have been going to Yama Sushi and Izakaya for so many years. And every time I eat here, I’m never disappointed! The hostess, servers, and chefs are always so nice and sweet! Honestly, it is the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant!
Since I have been going to Yama Sushi and Izakaya for so many years, the chefs gave me my own chopsticks box to customize to hang on their wall!
Oregon roll and spider roll.
Edamame and avocado/cucumber roll.
Salmon skinned salad.
Restaurant view from the bar.
My chopsticks box.
“The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-based restaurant, cafe, juice bar and a vegetable slaughterhouse! They treat fruits and vegetables as a butcher would meat: They chop, fillet and carve fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes and press them into pretty juices.
Their Los Angeles, California location serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. They take pride in our daily-changing menu, which is 100% vegetarian, and mostly vegan and gluten-free. Plus, they can always prepare substitutions for most dietary restrictions!”
Anthony and I had the opportunity to eat at The Butcher’s Daughter in Los Angeles, California. Anthony ordered the macro bowl and I ordered the market hummus and crudite starter.
The macro bowl had rice, roasted vegetables, avocado, black beans, hummus, arugula, and an egg.
The humus and crudite had raw vegetables, hummus, and housemate pita.
It was so delicious!
As I was walking down Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Los Angeles, California, I came across Shuhari Matcha Cafe, which is an authentic Japanese green tea cafe!
Since I am obsessed with anything that has matcha in it, I of course had to go inside to purchase a drink!
After some time of looking over their amazing menu, I decided to order the real matcha shake.
It was SO delicious! Wish they had Shuhari Matcha Cafe in Portland, Oregon.
