Yama Sushi and Izakaya in Portland Oregon!

My favorite Japanese restaurant is Yama Sushi and Izakaya in Portland, Oregon!

I have been going to Yama Sushi and Izakaya for so many years. And every time I eat here, I’m never disappointed! The hostess, servers, and chefs are always so nice and sweet! Honestly, it is the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant!

Since I have been going to Yama Sushi and Izakaya for so many years, the chefs gave me my own chopsticks box to customize to hang on their wall!

Never Coffee in Portland, Oregon!

Never Coffee is a cafe in Portland, Oregon! They are unique since they have their signature drink menu, which is below!

“Hug – Spicy Cacao, smoked chilies, cinnamon

It’s warm and holds you close. It makes you drop your guard. At the moment of bliss, it wakes you up with a bite, a kick, and enough fight to keep you coming back for more.

Oregon – Cascade hops, dulce de leche, jacobsen sea salt

The taste of Oregon. Familiar and inviting caramel brings you in and sea salt makes you stay. The addition of the local hops keeps it wild.

Rich Kid – Rose water, saffron, and cardamom

A rarity with attitude. Luxuriously balanced to give you the million dollar taste on our side of the tracks. Each flavor is elusive and when you find them, that’s your VIP ticket to the party.

Midnight Oil – Sweet fennel seed, star anise, and black licorice

The Scandinavian love of black licorice wrapped in a pillowy latte. It’s dark, moody, and scary delicious with a sweetness that haunts you, stalks you, and eventually devours you.

Holy Grail – Tumeric, ginger, and orange blossom water. Topped with bee local cherry wood smoked honey, jacobsen sea salt, and tellicherry pepper

Immortality is here and it tastes like gold. The feel better benefits of turmeric and ginger mixed with fresh flavors of honey and orange blossom. This is what infinity tastes like.” More information about Never Coffee: Here.

Personally, my favorite is their iced soy matcha latte with soy milk!

Brunch at The Daughter’s Butcher!

“The Butcher’s Daughter is a plant-based restaurant, cafe, juice bar and a vegetable slaughterhouse! They treat fruits and vegetables as a butcher would meat: They chop, fillet and carve fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes and press them into pretty juices.

Their Los Angeles, California location serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. They take pride in our daily-changing menu, which is 100% vegetarian, and mostly vegan and gluten-free. Plus, they can always prepare substitutions for most dietary restrictions!”

Anthony and I had the opportunity to eat at The Butcher’s Daughter in Los Angeles, California. Anthony ordered the macro bowl and I ordered the market hummus and crudite starter.

The macro bowl had rice, roasted vegetables, avocado, black beans, hummus, arugula, and an egg.

The humus and crudite had raw vegetables, hummus, and housemate pita.

It was so delicious!

SomiSomi! The Cutest Ice Cream to Eat!

A few weeks ago I came across a video called, ‘Americans try Japanese Ice Cream Cones’ by Buzzfeed. To try the Japanese ice cream cones, three women from Buzzfeed went to SomiSomi, an ice cream store that is located on the second floor of Madang Mall Plaza in Korea town, Los Angeles, California.

Since I was in Los Angeles, California, I had to try it!

For my ice cream flavors, I got milk and matcha.

For my fish pastry filling, I got custard.

For my toppings, I got matcha powder, sprinkles, graham crackers, and a strawberry.

Shuhari Matcha Cafe!

As I was walking down Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Los Angeles, California, I came across Shuhari Matcha Cafe, which is an authentic Japanese green tea cafe!

Since I am obsessed with anything that has matcha in it, I of course had to go inside to purchase a drink!

After some time of looking over their amazing menu, I decided to order the real matcha shake.

It was SO delicious! Wish they had Shuhari Matcha Cafe in Portland, Oregon.
